Overview:

In addition to Full-Time employment with our partner, this program provides NO COST skills-based training to highly motivated individuals.  This training is tailored to the specific role and includes both technical and interpersonal components. This unique work-study opportunity differs from the typical job. Our solution, for those who are ready, will put you on the right personal, academic, and professional path while providing the necessary support and mentorship to help keep you there.

Candidate Profile:

  • Post 9/11 Military Veteran with an Honorable discharge, OR currently serving in the National Guard/Reserve
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with IT experience; (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Full-time

Program Overview:

  • Phase 1 - Training (Up to 4 Weeks):
    • Classes and certification test preparation will be held Monday – Friday
    • Training will include:
      • Interpersonal Skills
      • Technical Training and Certification (as needed)
    • Phase 1 Compensation: $650/Week Stipend
  • Phase 2 - Full-Time Employment:
    • Full-Time work (38 hours/week) with a training component (2 hours/week)
    • Throughout the program you will receive continued support and individual mentorship to ensure your success.
    • Phase 2 Compensation:
      • $22.50/Hour (Plus Benefits after 90 days)

Overview:

The eDiscovery Data Technician is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and archiving information. Additional responsibilities will include facilitating data storage processes, creating detailed reports based on their work, and providing conclusions based on their observations. Advanced problem-solving skills are essential in this position to develop innovative solutions to data issues and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask on separate projects with ease. In addition, they must work well together in a team setting with other data professionals and on their own with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

The eDiscovery Data Technician’s primary responsibility is to fulfill the preservation request for Physical Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, and NVMe drives, which includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Enter and verify data into standardized systems
  • Organize and arrange files and data
  • Search for, categorize, and enter data from multiple departments and sources
  • Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy
  • Compare records across fields and time to identify trends and quality problems
  • Maintain detailed records for all requests, including the operations that were performed and the date and format of data delivery
  • Utilize industry standard forensic hardware and software to ensure data integrity
  • Active communication with and delivery of status updates to data supervisor
  • Process all requests according to established intake processes and internal guidelines
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma with tantamount IT experience for the position / Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Must have experience in Information Technology
  • Strong technical skills
  • Ability to exhibit & apply technical hardware knowledge with Workstations like Windows Laptops, Mac Laptops, and Towers
  • Strong teamwork and communication/information sharing skills
  • Exercise judgment and influence on key process and technical decisions (for example, policy, standards, technical solutions)
  • Good organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complexity and handle/prioritize multiple tasks
  • Process oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

Duration:

  • Full-Time

Salary:

  • Training: $650/Week
  • Full-Time: $22.50/Hour (plus benefits)
