Job Description:

IT Inventory Specialists assist in developing and maintaining an effective asset management program. This position supports activities to manage IT assets, utilize procedural and policy documents to conduct an on-site inventory of assets, identify and remove obstacles to the completion of asset inventories. IT Inventory Specialists must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving a company vehicle, you will load, transport and unload property, supplies, and materials at various sites within the NYC area (to include NJ)
  • Utilize reporting and regular audits to ensure process integrity and data quality
  • Prepare and maintain required documents and paperwork 
  • Conduct routine assessments of IT assets to determine appropriate placement, inventory levels, and configuration of IT assets
  • Identify needed repairs or maintenance on existing assets and work with staff and vendors to process them
  • Utilizing ServiceNow, assist in maintaining accurate hardware inventory of computer assets and peripherals at the warehouse location and as they are transferred to facilities and office locations
  • Report problematic statuses (not delivered, delivery exceptions) as necessary to ensure delivery
  • Email leadership and team members, as needed, regarding equipment not returned as expected
  • Work with hardware, other technicians, and IT procurement to maintain appropriate stock levels of IT Assets
  • Work with shipping/distribution teams to move assets from one building to another as needed or special assistance requests
  • Carry out other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Must have a clean driving record. No violations for, at least, three years
  • Experience in an IT and asset role
  • Able to lift and transport IT related equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to sit, stoop, kneel or crouch for long periods
  • Comfortable working in warehouse environments
  • Must exhibit a professional behavior that promotes teamwork, fosters cooperation, and enhances productivity in the workplace
  • Must be well organized with the ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to work effectively with a variety of personnel at all levels
  • Candidates must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Flexible availability. Able to work Overtime, as necessary.

Salary:

  • $15.00/Hour (Plus Benefits)
  • Overtime opportunities available for 1-1/2 times the regular pay rate.
