We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support the Shared Financial Services Payroll operations. The position is a highly valued individual on the Payroll team and plays an integral role in the day-to-day payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who takes ownership of their responsibilities. Responsibilities:

  • Work with ADP and our units processing regular and off cycle payroll runs.
  • Payroll Processing under very tight deadlines.
  • Process/monitor off cycle payments.
  • Monitor Payroll inbox support within ADP system, able to respond to ADP tickets and report issues.
  • Proficient in report creation in ADP.
  • Support monthly/ quarterly reconciliations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 – 5 years payroll experience.
  • Experience with ADP Global View Platform preferred.
  • SAP experience desired.
  • Knowledge of multi-state tax.
  • Detailed oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work under time pressure, to prioritize workload, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and a team player with a positive attitude.

Duration:

  • Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)

Salary:

  • $29.80/Hour

Location:

  • Hybrid (current): Split schedule between Remote and On-Site work
    • The hybrid policy will continue for the foreseeable future. Candidates must be available to shift to a full On-Site work schedule, if required
  • Candidates must be within 30 miles of the Hearst location in Ballentyne, NC ( a neighborhood of Charlotte, NC)
