Overview:

American Airlines is a commercial airline providing passenger and cargo transportation throughout North America, Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. The following describes the essential job functions, job qualifications, traditional physical demands and other requirements of the job. Job Description:

 Maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. 

Qualifications (Required):

  • Two years experience required Responsibility level 
  • Ability to exercise minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills of Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one?s time (Required) 
  • Basic knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Preferred) 
  • Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc (Preferred) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers
  • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation 
  • Confer with clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs 
  • Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared

Qualifications (Preferred):

  • One year of General IT experience
  • Incident/Crisis Management experience
  • ITSM experience

  • $35.00/Hour (Plus Benefits)
