Candidate Profile:

  • Current, or future, graduate in Computer Science, IS, IT, Engineering, Business Administration or related field
  • Enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred

Expectations:

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual to join our team. This position will provide support for Government Program Regulatory, Compliance and Pre Audits. Experience with Medicaid Health insurance regulation, Module Audit Rule and Sarbanes-Oxley a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with initiatives and program tasks ensuring assigned audit planning, data gathering, analysis and testing tasks are accomplished in the timeframe established.
  • Assist with Identifying, developing and documenting control issues. 
  • Maintain a good understanding of business model and risks.
  • Offer value-added recommendations to supervisors on internal controls.
  • Assist in maintaining overall quality and client satisfaction, and provides feedback on work products.
  • Report progress of assigned audit or program work and seeks input from the Audit Manager and Director.
  • Develop expertise of the business environment and industry practices, internal audit professional practices and specific business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Government Program Regulatory and Compliance experience. Medicaid experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience with performing Compliance and Regulatory Audits, Risk Management and Mitigation. 
  • Experience with compliance issues in a health insurance environment and think analytically.
  • Effective verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and work well within a team.
  • Proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, process improvement,  and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with various levels of management.
  • Experience with Audit and Trending Reporting.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Office).

Duration:

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Salary:

  • $27.00/Hour (Plus Benefits)

Location:

  • Newark, NJ
  • Hybrid (Currently on-site one day/week)
